Current TPS beneficiaries are able to re-register for a new or extended employment authorization document (EAD). However, all benefits will expire by November 2018. Beneficiaries with another immigration status along with their TPS will continue to hold that status if they have maintained it while registered for TPS. For those without another status, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recommends individuals either prepare to leave the U.S. or if they are eligible, apply for any other immigration benefits.
