Ingrid Rendon joined Scott Global Migration Law Group’s legal team September 2018 as a full-time paralegal. Ingrid received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Northeastern Illinois University where she acquired not only the skills necessary to critically examine social institutions but the passion to fight for social justice. Ingrid volunteered with CALA Chicago, providing legal services to a variety of social groups, which has served as a foundation for her work at Scott Global Migration Law Group.
Born in Mexico but was raised in Harvard, Illinois, since the age of one, Ingrid has both experienced the “American” life in addition to possessing the unique insight in the plight and struggles of the immigrant community. Because of her experiences and critical interpretation of immigration policy, she plans on attending law school to pursue a career as an immigration attorney.
