
EMPLOYMENT-BASED IMMIGRATION FOURTH PREFERENCE EB-4
You must be a special immigrant to qualify under the employment-based, fourth preference visa. The following individuals qualify as special immigrants:
- Religious Worker
- Special Immigrant Juveniles
- Armed Forces Members
- Certain Physicians
- International Employees of the U.S. Government abroad
- Broadcasters
- G-4 International Organization or NATO-6 Employees and their dependents
- Afghan and Iraqi Translators
- Afghan and Iraqi Nationals who have provided faith service in support of U.S. operations
- It is generally the employer in the United States who files the petition on behalf of the special immigrant but, in some situations, the employee may self-petition. The instructions of Form I-
